What is B.Voc. (Bachelor of Vocational Education)?
The B. Voc. is a recognised graduate degree and the student qualies for any competitive exam that requires a graduate degree. Vocational or skill-based education is becoming more and more signicant with passing time. B.Voc. (Bachelor of Vocation) is an emerging course in India that aims at providing adequate skills required for a particular trade to candidates.
The course is dierent from traditional academic programmes as it deals more with application-based studies rather than focusing on only theoretical knowledge. B.Voc. is a three-year duration undergraduate course that can be pursued in a wide range of elds starting from healthcare, food technology and
hospitality to creative elds like Fine Arts, graphic designing and beauty & wellness. One of the biggest advantages of pursuing B.Voc. against common degree courses is that a candidate has multiple exit points during the programme and continued industry exposure.
This means that if a candidate is unable to complete his/ her B.Voc. course, he/she is still awarded a diploma after successful completion of rst year or advanced diploma after successful completion of second year. Apart from this, the work experience candidates gain during the course increases their chances of getting a job. - Selected candidates shall complete the admission procedure within the prescribed date by paying the prescribed fees and completing all other admission formalities notified by the university. Failure to do so would lead to the cancellation of the selection.
- Candidate are required to register for each award at time I,e to begin with Vocational Diploma, Vocational Advance Diploma and Bachelor of Vocational Degree

Course curriculum for B.Voc.
As stated above, a B.Voc. Course is of three years duration divided into six semesters. The course curriculum of B.Voc. is industry-based which contains about 40% General education (theory) and 60% vocational training (practical) components. This means that apart from studying the regular curriculum, all students need to undergo industrial training or project work for at least four to eight weeks in every semester.

This Three Years course is eligible for those students who have passed class 12, including those who have not undergone any basic Fine art training. In these three years, the students are introduced to different forms to help enhance their observations and expression. The entire syllabus is aimed at the practical application of art. Once the course is completed the students would be industrial ready to tackle real life scenarios, and express their thoughts through art. The Course emphasises on creating awareness in the student about the principles of visual fundamentals, basic design experience, promote visual and textural sensibility, formal perception, manual and neat-handedness. Here the students will seek to cultivate their personal aesthetic growth and professional responsibility at large.
